Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 medium or large onion, roughly chopped
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 8 cans of garlic/basil tomato sauce
- 2 to 3 cans tomato paste
- 1 to 2 cans diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 tsp sugar
Directions
- Heat oil in large pan. Cook onion and garlic until soft, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add basil to taste, stir.
- Place mixture from step 1 into a crock pot. Then, in the same pan from step 1, cook meats together until browned. Add to crock pot.
- Add other ingredients to crock pot and stir. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
Notes
- Start with two cans of tomato paste and add another if the sauce is too runny.
