Easy Skillet Taco Pie
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1 Old El Paso taco dinner kit
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel sweet corn, drained
Directions
- In 10-inch skillet, brown beef; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; heat until hot.
- Break tack shells into bite-size pieces. Layer refried beans, half of the broken taco shells, 1 cup of the cheese, the salsa , and corn on top of the beef in the skillet.
- Top with remaining broken taco shells and cheese. Cover; heat about 10 minutes or until hot. Serve immediately.
